Background
Talent Abundance HR Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in data-driven human resources solutions, wanted to leverage analytics to improve employee engagement, development planning, and retention strategies. My role involved supporting these analytics-driven initiatives, providing insight into trends that could influence HR strategy.
Core problem
The company faced challenges in using HR data effectively to drive insights on employee engagement, performance, and development. Limited analytical frameworks were in place to guide decision-making, making it difficult to identify patterns in employee engagement, attrition, and development needs. Addressing these issues required implementing structured data analysis and visualization tools to gain actionable insights from HR metrics.
My Process for TAHR
I focused on establishing an analytics-driven framework to identify and track key HR metrics, such as engagement levels, individual development planning, and attrition. Leveraging Power BI and sentiment analysis tools, I helped create dashboards and data visualizations that provided actionable insights for HR decision-making and workforce planning.
Key Actions Taken
Employee Engagement Framework: Developed a 7-factor engagement blueprint, drawing on insights from industry leaders and balanced scorecard methodologies, to measure and track engagement drivers.
Data-Driven IDP Process: Created and digitized an Individual Development Plan (IDP) template for standardized documentation, tracking, and analytics via Power BI.
Workforce Analytics Dashboard: Built interactive dashboards in Power BI to visualize attrition data, engagement trends, and tenure patterns, aiding in proactive workforce management.
Sentiment Analysis of Exit Surveys: Used SiEBERT sentiment analysis to assess resignation reasons and sentiment, enabling targeted retention strategies.
